Georgia-born baritone Charles Wesley Evans has been applauded by the New York Times for his “elegant and mellifluous tones” and as “the peak of the night’s solo work” by the Miami Herald. With a range of genres spanning from baroque to jazz and R&B, he has performed with Trinity Choir of Trinity Church Wall Street, Clarion Choir, Seraphic Fire, Conspirare, Berkshire Baroque, Princeton Pro Musica, San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, Delaware Valley Philharmonic and the Dryden Ensemble. Mr. Evans earned his BA in music from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia with further study at the Boston Conservatory and Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
