Designed to reflect the emerging style and character of the area, the chapel is an architectural homage to the many artists and artisans settling in Carmel in the 1940s. Its Schoestein & Company pipe organ was custom built in 1950 and remains one of the largest pipe organs on the Monterey Peninsula.
