Every single dollar supports our artists as they share music and ideas influenced by Bach to impact the communities that surround us. There are several ways you can join us in supporting these efforts and we offer a variety of donor benefits to show our appreciation for your generosity. General Operating Your gift will go towards supporting the greatest needs of our organization, as our core staff works twelve months a year to produce our annual Festival and year-round community engagement programs. Production Support World-renowned artists and technical crew travel to Carmel each year to celebrate the music and influence of J.S. Bach in a myriad of state-of-the-art and historic venues across the Peninsula. In an effort to connect you more deeply with the art, we offer opportunities to directly support the artists and our programs. Community Engagement Carmel Bach Festival collaborates with various civic partners and youth organizations to consistently engage area communities to participate in the creation of art. This includes free open rehearsals, lectures, and vocal master classes at Festival venues; instrument demonstrations, conversations with performers, and performances at community spaces; and young artist training, mentoring and performance programs. Endowment The Festival endowment generates annual revenue through careful and responsible management of the principal. These gifts provide an ongoing source of income to the Festival. Your endowment gift is an investment in the growth and future of the organization and can be made with cash, stock and securities, and as part of your estate. Gifts can be made anonymously or they can be recognized in perpetuity. Virginia Best Adams Vocal Master Class Endowment The Adams Master Class Endowment was founded in 1984 through the generosity and vision of Virginia Best Adams, her family and friends. Each year the Bach Festival selects four talented emerging vocal artists and brings them to the Carmel to study Baroque repertoire with Festival soloists. Your gift to this endowment ensures the future of highly trained Baroque vocalists.
